Water is life, especially for our thirsty flowers! At The Lost Acre, we want to make sure every drop counts. Instead of using big sprayers that toss water into the air where the sun can dry it up, we use something much smarter called drip irrigation. This system uses long, clever tubes that lay right on the soil. They deliver tiny sips of water directly to the roots of each plant, exactly where they need it most. It’s like giving every flower its very own straw so it can drink deeply without wasting a single splash!

Protecting Our Precious Resources

By using drip irrigation in every one of our growing areas, we save thousands of gallons of water every year. This "slow and steady" way of watering keeps the leaves of our flowers dry, which helps prevent them from getting sick, and it stops water from running away into places where it isn’t needed. We are proud to manage our water so carefully because it helps keep our local environment healthy.
